It’s that time of year again! We are less than a month away from school starting back! Isn’t that crazy! Where does the time go! It seems like yesterday that school was just out! James 4:14, Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Life is short, enjoy it! Treasure the moments! Our children grow up so fast! I can’t believe I’ll have a freshman in college this fall, a senior in high school and 2 that will be in middle school! And my baby is 3 already! I’m one of those moms that hate when school starts back, I love every minute that I get to spend with them in the summer. Some days might not be perfect but I wouldn’t change it for nothing! I love them so!
Today we are bowling, one of my children’s favorite things to do. I signed up for the free bowling program, I’m all about being frugal and this is one program that I love and it’s free! It has been a very busy summer with many adventures. We still have one exciting adventure left with under two weeks before we head to California. We are so excited! We have only been once and that was three years ago. We had went to Disneyland and one day at the beach. This go around we will be at the beach for four days and one day at Sea World. If you have any advice please feel free to comment, it will be greatly appreciative!
I try to break it up and take one child at a time back to school shopping. That way I get to spend some time with that one and really help out with their style and their preference. My 10 year old just had her turn and wow! She has grown so much since last year! It was such a fun time. We had lunch, shopping and ice cream! Sweet times with my sweet girl! I will do each one and by that time school will be back in session. With school on mind, our middle school students have to have chrome books for school and my college student needs a laptop. Amazon today has great prices on so many electronics. I have my eye on a couple of things. One in particular is the Alexa Show, it is $100 lower than regular price. Does anyone have one? Any pointers? We have the Alexa Echo Dot and my children love it! They have her ply their favorite songs, tell the temp and even call me! It was very inexpensive, we purchased our’s through Amazon this past Christmas. It was a great buy for sure.
